MEDIA RELEASE: WA's Best Restaurants, Cafes & Caterers Awarded Platinum Plaques
Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) today announced the winners of the 2020 Western Australia Restaurant & Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence. The Awards for Excellence program formally recognises hospitality operators across a broad range of categories who consistently provide exceptional service and demonstrate culinary excellence in their fields.
Each category winner will now proudly display a perpetual Platinum Plaque for their win. Three of the winning venues have also been successful in retaining their Platinum Plaque, which demonstrates their continued dedication to their business.
Restaurant & Catering (R&CA) CEO Wes Lambert congratulated each of the winners on behalf of the Association, recognising their significant contributions to the hospitality industry in Western Australia.
“The Awards for Excellence is one of the highlights in the year’s hospitality calendar in WA and we are delighted to recognise some of the state’s finest hospitality institutions as the very best our industry has to offer. Every finalist and winner is a standard-bearer for our industry, especially during this tumultuous year”, Mr Lambert said.
“This year’s winners include household names such as Dusit Dheva by the Sea in Hillarys, who took out the Restaurant of the Year, Brother of Mine in Baldivis, who took out the Café of the Year and Creative Catering Wangara, winning the Caterer of the Year”.
‘Other categories this year includes the Consumer Vote Award, Italian Restaurant Award and Beer Café/Wine Bar Award. Each category represents some of the dining on offer across WA’.
