The Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) has announced Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) as an official Association Partner for 2026, reinforcing MICE’s position as the World’s Destination for Coffee and a leading event for Australia’s hospitality industry.
R&CA is the peak industry body representing Australia’s restaurant, café and catering sector. With a long-standing history of advocacy, education and industry leadership, R&CA plays a central role in supporting hospitality businesses nationwide and has been actively engaged in major industry events and initiatives.
“R&CA is looking forward to being part of an event that brings the café and coffee community together in a practical, business-focused way. MICE provides a valuable platform to connect café owners, restaurateurs and decision-makers with suppliers, service providers and educators who play a critical role in day-to-day operations.” Venessa Barnes, Head of Growth & Partnerships at Restaurant & Catering Industry Association, stated.
“For R&CA, the focus is on supporting members with access to real conversations, relevant education and industry connections that help businesses make informed decisions, stay competitive and plan for the year ahead.”
In 2026, Restaurant & Catering Australia’s involvement at MICE will focus on
connecting café owners, restaurateurs and hospitality decision makers with leading suppliers, service providers and educators across the coffee and hospitality supply chain.
“MICE has become a cornerstone event for Australia’s café and restaurant sector, attracting operators who are actively engaged in improving their businesses. Its strong mix of trade exhibitors, education sessions and industry insight aligns closely with R&CA’s role as an advocate and support body for foodservice operators.” Barnes continued.
“Partnering with MICE allows R&CA to meet members where they already are — on the show floor, learning, connecting and looking for practical solutions — while reinforcing the association’s commitment to supporting the industry at every level.”
Now in its thirteenth year, MICE has become a key industry platform for café and restaurant operators, offering access to exhibitors, education sessions and insights that support business growth and operational excellence.
As part of the partnership, all R&CA members receive free entry to MICE 2026, including access to the expo floor and all education sessions. R&CA members looking to redeem their complimentary pass can contact the association directly: www.rca.asn.au
