A ‘Healthy Kids Menu Award’ for restaurants and cafes offering healthy choices for kids.
This award is open to venues who have a dedicated kid’s menu and those who offer healthy choices for children on general menus. These criteria apply to items listed on the menu and in a display cabinet.

To nominate for this award, applicants must:
1. Fill out their information, answer the questions below and submit the form.
2. Include a brief summary describing how your business meets the criteria.
3. Provide a copy of the venue’s kids menu OR a copy of the venue’s general menu with the healthy options available to children clearly marked.
4. Provide photographs of the healthier meals available on the menu. If menu items are displayed in a cabinet, please provide a photograph of the whole cabinet on a typical day.
The successful venue will receive fabulous marketing and advertising opportunities that are invaluable to your business. Award winners will be presented with a trophy at the 2021 South East QLD Awards for Excellence annual gala dinner on Monday 8 August 2022. The winner will receive access to a suite of ‘Healthy Kids Menu’ materials such as a guide for businesses, and branding material which can be used for venues’ promotional campaign. Each finalist will be judged by Health and Wellbeing QLD. Each business is assessed on a strict set of judging criteria as displayed on this nomination form. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
